I started my HR career and my motherhood journey at the same time, back in 2005 and I felt the blockers straight away.
Rigid systems. Unspoken rules. Workplaces that expected 100% effort, 100% of the time, with zero room to be human. Success felt like a constant test, with no roadmap, no mentoring, just endless proving.

But I always knew it didn’t have to be that way.

I know that when people (from the CEO to the intern) are supported, heard, and valued, work works for them, not against them.

And when that happens, businesses don’t have to drive people into the ground to get results. Success shifts from pushing people harder to creating the kind of environment where people want to show up, perform, and win, because they’ve been set up to thrive.

That belief took me to an international media company in 2010, where I went all in on People Operations and Organisational Development, learning how to design systems that fuel people, performance, and profit.

15 years later, I’ve worked with 47 high-growth international companies, designing people strategies that work in real life, not just on paper.
